Joshua Spacht describes his arrangement titled “Brahms Intermezzo” as:
“A new indie-classical single which is my arrangement of a well-known theme by Brahms. It’s a condensed version of the 2nd piece from his Op. 118”
The result is a carefully sculpted, well-phrased performance of a tonal, yet not hackneyed, envisioning of Brahms’s theme.
While the mix is a bit muted in the high register, that is easily overlooked due to the musicality infused into the track–i.e. one doesn’t have to pay attention to the mix because one is taken in by the beautiful structure, pacing, phrasing, and registral voicing of the work.
