“Paranoia” by Arkham

I almost immediately knew that I wanted to write up this song.  “Paranoia” by Arkham features a metal drive that is a bit tamer than the extreme sounds dictating the metal scene, which makes it more versatile in generating a wide audience.  However, it is still very metal, and will satisfy the crave of any power- or epic-metal-loving fan.

Of particular interest is the inclusion of synths that are balanced well with the guitars, a sense of drive that isn’t extreme, a lack of extreme dissonance (unlike other bands such as Gojira), and a mix that transforms textures with agility.

Please note: this song is metal, and while I don’t hear any vulgarity, it is a bit intense for some listeners.
